Finding Planets in the Daytime
Recently did some daytime planet hunting to find Venus in the daytime close to the Crescent Moon and was able to snap a few photos.
After the sun set I was able to locate Saturn and Spica as well.

Moon, Venus and Saturn - September 8, 2013
Recently did some daytime planet hunting to find Venus in the daytime close to the Crescent Moon and was able to snap a few photos.
Comet PANSTARRS
COMET PANSTARRS as seen from LONG ISLAND, NY
Comet PANSTARRS was seen in the spring from West Meadow Beach on several evenings at dusk until it disappeared below the western horizon.
