The Custer Observatory will be holding its 39th Annual Astronomy Jamboree from Friday, Nov. 3rd through Sunday, Nov. 5th at the Rec Center in Peconic and the Custer Observatory in Southold !

November 4 - 6, 2016


On November 5th the Custer Observatory held the second day of its Astronomy Jamboree at the Southold High School, Southold, NY. The evening consisted of Lectures, Vendors, Workshops, Planetarium and Raffles. Afterwards the festivities moved to the Custer Observatory for Stargazing.

On the evening of November 4th the Custer Observatory held the first day of its Astronomy Jamboree at the Custer Observatory in Southold, NY. The evening consisted of Celestial Poetry Reading, The Astronomer's Drinking Song and Wine and Cheese.

On Sunday, October 19th, the third day of the Astronomy Jamboree was held at the Custer Observatory. The morning started with a great breakfast for all followed by some great presentations and some awesome music by some of our own Custer members.

The second day of the Astronomy Jamboree was held at the Suffolk County Community College - eastern campus in Riverhead, NY until 5pm. Afterwards the festivities moved to the Custer Observatory for a Dinner Buffet, Lectures and Stargazing.
