Sherwood House Vineyard - August 14, 2013

Custer Observatory recently did an Outreach Program at the Sherwood House Vineyard Tasting Room in Jamesport, NY. Present were David van Popering, Steve Bellavia, David Barnett, Bill Crispino, Elliot Maddox and myself.

International Observe the Moon Night


  
This Saturday, October 8, 2011 is  
International Observe the Moon Night!

Come to the Custer Observatory this Saturday to get a close up view of the moon through our powerful telescopes and binoculars! 

Learn more about our Lunar neighbor and do some hands-on activities. Fun for the whole family!

You can also follow Twitter and Tweet on the night of InOMN @observethemoon in the OMN 2011 Tweetup! Use hashtag  #moonnight  to post on the InOMN Twitter Feed world wide.

Although the viewing will be less then ideal the Draconid Meteor Shower will be going on also, so look for those meteors as well!

Admission: Suggested Donation: of $5 Adults, $3 Children under 14, Free for Members.
